Placid Pelican at Dusk

85cm x 115cm Oil, Acrylic and Pencil on Linen.

Using this soothing colour palette, I aimed to portray this pelican in a calm and peaceful light. The footprints tell us that the pelican is nearing the water’s edge.. perhaps he is appreciating our beautiful Planet Earth.
